I am not much a gold person or jewellery person, heck, I am not even crazy about diamond. Maybe not yet. Perhaps I still couldn’t afford them yet?

But unlike me, my mother cherishes gold. She said when she was young, she would buy gold to keep. She said, “Money depreciates, but gold value never decreases”. She got a point there which I have to agree. A bowl of noodles used to cost 5 cents but now, in the city I am living, it is at least 4 bucks, which has increased 80 times in 40 years.

Anyway, according to experts, it is good to invest 20% of your investment in tangible asset such as gold, silver, platinum, etc. Well, if you are interested to invest in these precious metals, it is time to invest in them.

Some of my colleagues are discussing about them too, some think it is better to invest in forex and others in share market. But for me, till I am have more

Lamps

After much consideration of what could be a perfect house warming gift for a colleague, we decided that a lamp would be nice. It could be a stand lamp, table lamp or wall lamp; any room can always use an extra one whether for decoration or of course, for source of light!

Warranty

My brand new D300 have sent to Nikon service center on monday,
3 errors found in my machine :-

1) One of the focus point missing in view finder
2) Liveview mode cannot save picture while in Single autofocus mode
3) Blink low battery indication eventhough the battery is enough, then auto shut off, turn on again will normal

It will take around 3 weeks plus to get this back...

‘Coincidence’

My photography don’t have copyright for the concepts, so when you saw something similar with mine tell yourself this is ‘Coincidence’…but don’t say people are copy :p

I should be proud that my photography can inspired by someone who follow it.
But in the art field, I hope every photographer and designer they can come out their own concept to proof that he is talent! Ok …this is ‘Coincidence’

One of the angel - Belle can sing well, yesterday we went to Little Tree Cafe at Prima Setapak to support her at semi final singing competition! 90% of the cafe customer are Tarcian , me and another friend just felt so old there T.T

Trash the Dress - Does it really need to be trash ?

After posted the Trash the Dress series, most of the feedbacks & doubt I get is about the same, the dress does it really need to be Trash, destroy or spoilt? The answer can be Yes also can be No.

From the beginning when I heard about this theme name, the first image pop up in my mind are totally trashes the dress! But eventually it is not necessary to be, and before shoot this series, I have gone through some samples and the concepts of TTD, most of the bride's gown are even ultra clean and new! Then, I believe you will get doubt like me at begin .Why still Trash the Dress?

It's a clever tag that has generated an enormous amount of publicity and is more a representation of the concept than a hard and fast reality. On this series, my conclusion is;
Beside trashing the dress, photographer and bride have to 'trash' their FEAR, trash the TRADITIONAL MINDSET when shooting in the stressful environment and also photographer have to GOOD use the messy background turn to be fun.

Sorry for the long story here, as a photographer I have to responsibility to bring a clear message for this, TTD is so much possibility way to present and yet so much fun, I really wish this pre-wedding trend can be get popular in Malaysia :D

Again the another destroy project has live, almost 2 years ago when i know about 'Trash the Dress' this conceptual pre wedding photo from western country i was get amazed, and i did share this to around my friends and client, but the feedback to me is crazy and strange, and finally i meet Kylie (the bride to be) about this too, she was quite open minded and also exited on this kind of shoot.

Since her fiance still working at UK, but we still try the first round of Trash the dress. Thanks to her to get ready 2 gowns for us to this round and all the way down from Ipoh, also thanks to Suki who sponsored on the make up and Behn in charge on the video and help, also the goat farm's staff Jamal arranged for all the things.
